All non ferrous metal parts are silver/tinned plated.All the ferrous metal parts are hot dip galvanised.The porcelain and metal parts are assembled in such manner that any thermal expansion differential between the metal and porcelain parts through out the range of temperature variation shall not loosen the parts or create undue internal stresses which may effecdt the electrical or mechanicals strength and rigidity. The insulators conforms to IS:5350 and IS:731/1971.
